Kilesa
In Buddhism, the Pali word kilesa (Sanskrit: kleśa or klesha) is used to mean “defilements” or “corruptions”. Three main kinds of kilesa are:
– lobha: greed, lust (rāga), attachment. (Compare rajas.)
– dosa: hatred, aversion.
– moha: delusion, sloth, ignorance (avijjā). (Compare tamas.)
